Google and Nike Logo Recreation

Image
I made a recreation of the Google logo on the adobe Illustrator programme. Illustrator artwork is vector-based design software, made to scale down from mobile screens and up to billboard size — while still looking crisp and clear. I  used the ‘Ellipse Tool’  to create 2 circles one slightly larger than the other, aligned the circles and with the pathfinder tool,  the option minus front cut the smaller circle out of the larger one. With the ruler, I added two guidelines and aligned them in the centre of the circle. Next, a rectangle with the same thickness as the circle was  added . With the align option, I selected the circle and the square and click then divided. Then, with the with arrow selected the part of the rectangle that was out of the circle. In the next step, I rotated the guidelines and selected everything and divided with the align option. Finally, each part will be cut and change the colour of every part. I also replicated the NIKE logo. I used the pen tool to

sky background from below in the grass with water from the front from an odd angle from above from the distance with glass with red I took photos of two toys, using my phone and added some edits on photoshop.   the assignment was to take ten pictures of an object in different angles and bring it to class. In this session, we had to edit two of those pictures but since it was a fun experience I went ahead and edited ten photos. I used different angles and labled the picturres I posted accordingly to  export it with the maximum resolution possible. it was pleasant to play around with lighting in the real world and on photoshop.  I experimented with different crops to find the composition that appealed most to me. i also made  Use of Photoshop’s suite of adjustment tools, correcting the photo’s exposure to bring out more detail. The tools where accessed by clicking on Image (on the Menu Bar) and selecting Adjustments from the drop-down

FILM POSTER OF GHOST IN THE SHELL

Image
I made a web ready, abstract, minimal film poster for Ghost in the Shell, a Japanese animated film. The film is set in 2029 japan, and follows Motoko Kusanagi, a cyborg public- security agent. the film intertwines haunting philosophical themes that shine light on self-identity, human  greed in relation to a technologically advanced world to startling animation that juxtaposes japan with a future scape. I found pictures and stills from the movie I felt where interesting and also a png image of circuits ion the shape of a human head. I then removed the bits of the pictures i didnt need then merged the layers while also playing around with the fill and opacity settings. SCI-FI MOVIE; ENDER'S GAME

Image
I worked with Photoshop to make GIF images from a sci-fi movie of my choosing. I chose Ender's game as my subject.                      Ender's game, directed by Gavin Hood is adapted after the science fiction military novel by American author Orson Scott Card. It tells of a somewhat dystopian reality where humans are first attacked by an alien race called the Formics, the humans win due to an intelligent soldier who thinks to destroy the mother ship, thereby sacrificing his life to stop the invasion. The loss and casualties of the first war causes humans to advance their technology and also raise genetically intellect mutated kids to be in their army. They then take the war to the Formics. The progression of the story centers around Ender and his siblings and his journey on becoming the greatest military strategist and savior of earth.  Earth's military deceives Ender he is playing a simulation of the final war on the Formics unwittingly making him com
